Solab is a concept, a movement, a process of experimentation, providing a space for artists and producers from Africa and the diaspora to Connect, Create, Collaborate. Our aim is to champion Black creative genius, platforming cultures that have impacted the world, through education and performance, bringing everyone closer to African cultures and African people.

Interdisciplinary at its core, Solab nurtures the cross-pollination of music, visual art, film, dance, and literature. We also hold space for positive wellbeing and cultural identity, drawing inspiration from Afrofuturism — a lens that links African ancestry, technology, innovation, and creativity to our shared future.
